Is that new System of a Down?

Nope, in the words of Daron Malakian, System’s guitarist/vocalist, they’re “gonna do like KISS and put out [their] own solo records.” He’s also referring to Serj, SOAD’s lead singer putting out his own solo in 2007 called, Elect the Dead.

Malakian’s band, Scars on Broadway, has released a new video for their single “They Say”.

Their record is out July 29th and they’ve released the following as track listing:

The video isn’t anything visually stunning, but the song is good enough to appease System fans.

Oh, and don’t worry…according to THIS, System of a Down isn’t breaking up.

Kanye’s Flashing Lights version 2.0

Kanye’s alternate version for “Flashing Lights” features stop motion of a beautiful girl who ends up a wreck at the end of the night. Opposite of the first version, but not better. The first was cinematic and clever, the second one-not so much. It’s very “a picture a day” mixed with  “this is you on drugs,” but that’s just me.

Panic at the Disco to Release ‘That Green Gentleman’ as Next Music Video

On Friday visit NOKIAUSA.com to see Panic at the Disco’s new video for ‘That Green Gentleman’ off of their CD Pretty. Odd.

Here’s the teaser:

If their video for ‘ 9 in the Afternoon’ is any indication of what music videos are to come from this CD then we don’t have to worry about any weird fishbowl scheisse. I was tired of being so distracted form their overly metaphorical video oddities.

Anyway… the teaser is cute and the kids that play “mini Panic” yell that they’re Pimps in training :]
